Our team is the heart of Tijuana. A group of professionals from different nationalities, united by the same passion for hospitality. Many of us have been working at Tijuana for years, bringing experience, quality, and attentive service.
We believe diversity is a strength: every member of our team brings their own culture, talent, and personality, helping to create the unique atmosphere that makes every visit special.
EIKE
Eike is the founder and creator of the Tijuana brand. Trained as an industrial designer and a passionate traveler, he personally develops all the recipes and cocktails, drawing inspiration from the authentic flavors of Mexico and around the world.
DILETTA
HEAD WAITRESS
Diletta has been part of our team since 2018 and is one of our head waitresses. A true Florentine, she welcomes every guest with professionalism, care, and a smile.
ISMARAY
HEAD WAITRESS & BAR
Ismaray has been with us since 2011 and is our Head Bartender. Cuban with a German engine, she is known as one of the best bartenders in Florence. A trained pastry chef, she also creates our homemade desserts.

GENERAL SUPERVISOR
Charly is Tijuana’s mascot. Always ready to welcome guests with his irresistible charm, he loves cuddles and is a favorite with both kids and adults.

Christie is one of the stars of our team. Originally from Peru, she brings energy, warmth, and a big smile to Tijuana every day. Always attentive to our guests, she has become a special part of our team.

Manuel is our Peruvian bartender, a true professional with years of experience behind the bar… and countless Margaritas under his belt! With passion, precision, and a great personality, he is one of the strengths of our bar team.

Florentine, Brazilian, and German, Yanic is the youngest member of the Tijuana family. ❤️🌮
Under Manuel’s guidance behind the bar, he’s learning all the secrets of the trade as an apprentice bartender. 🍹

Mexican by origin and Florentine by adoption, Bernardo has practically grown up in the Tijuana family: his mother was already working with us when he was just a kid. ❤️🌮
Today, besides being part of our team, he plays for Centro Storico Lebowski, the football club that Tijuana proudly supports too! ⚽️🔥
Mexico in his blood, Tijuana in the family, and Lebowski in his heart! 💪

From Bangladesh, Shahim is one of our versatile kitchen team members. Twice a week, he prepares our fresh tortillas and nacho chips in our own tortilla MANUFACTURA. 🌮
The rest of the time, he’s always ready to jump in and help wherever he’s needed in the kitchen.

At Tijuana, he’s our Assistant Chef, responsible for preparing and organizing the kitchen line and making sure everything is ready for service.

Working at Tijuana means working hard, facing challenges, going through disappointments and defeats, but always finding the strength to get back up and keep moving forward.
Over the years, we’ve been through a lot together. We’ve made mistakes, learned, changed, started again and, most importantly, we’ve never stopped growing.
Today, Tijuana has become a benchmark for Mexican cuisine in Tuscany and one of the largest restaurants in Florence. It’s something I’m incredibly proud of, but I know that behind every idea, every new project and every slightly crazy dream of mine, there is all of you.
You are the ones who help me turn ideas into something real every single day—with your hard work, your energy, and also a lot of patience whenever I come up with yet another new idea. 😄
Tijuana wasn’t built by one person. It’s the result of a team.
We’ve already come a long way, but there is still so much more for us to build together.
